The TeamTime app’s section gives you quick access to core time-tracking features directly within your work items. However, to keep issue views clean and distraction-free across busy Jira spaces, you can now control exactly which work types display this section.
Space Admin permission required: To configure app section visibility, you must have Jira Administer Projects permissions for that specific space.
How to configure App’s Section Visibility
TeamTime must be enabled for your selected space. See our Context Configuration guide for details.

Navigate to the Jira space you want to configure.

Hover over the space name and click the More actions (...) button. Then select Space settings from the dropdown menu:

In the sidebar on the right side of your screen, locate Apps -> TeamTime:

Go to the Calculations tab to locate the App’s section visibility toggle beneath the current calculation mode description:

The toggle is off by default. Toggle the setting on to restrict visibility to specific work types. Leaving the toggle off keeps the app section visible across all work types in the space.

Click the multi-select field and check the boxes next to the work types that should display the app section:

Click Switch on to apply your changes.
Changes may take a few moments to propagate across your space. A success notification will appear once the configuration is updated.
