New: CumulativePlus Calculation Mode (Advanced Tier)
We’re excited to introduce CumulativePlus, a new calculation mode available to Advanced Tier app edition users. This mode gives you greater control over estimates across your spaces by using TeamTime’s own functionality instead of relying solely on Jira’s native Original Estimate field.
Key Benefits:
-
Transparent multi‑user estimates: Track who provided each estimate, when it was added, and how much time was logged — no more guessing which portion of the total belongs to each team member.
-
Safer collaborative estimating: Eliminate the risk of accidental deletions or incorrect totals when multiple people contribute estimates to the same work item.
-
Accurate reporting: The system calculates the total estimate based on individual contributions and displays it in your reports.
Additional Features:
-
Grouping by user: Discover the new grouping mode and build dynamic reports that spotlight each team member’s contributions in a comprehensible manner.
-
Co‑assignee tracking: Add relevant team members to the co‑assignees list from the start to monitor who is actively contributing necessary estimates.
-
Estimate log: View and edit estimates directly in the activity section, right next to Jira’s native work log. All changes are tracked and displayed in the estimate log for full transparency.
Try CumulativePlus to get a clearer, more collaborative view of your team’s estimates and progress.
Please note that most of the new features are subject to space‑level permissions. The space administrator should ensure that all relevant users have the necessary permissions to access and use these functionalities.
Bug fixes:
-
Report page: fixed empty display issue for Select list (cascading) field type.
Scope alignment update
This release does not introduce any new features or changes to existing functionality. It aligns the app’s Forge scopes with the previous Connect version, enabling eligible customers to migrate automatically from Connect to Forge without additional manual approval.
-
Incorrect Time Tracking recalculation in large work item trees is fixed.
-
Added a Recalculate button to manually update time values across the selected work item tree.
Welcome to the new TeamTime! 🎉 🎉 🎉
TeamTime 2.0.0 introduces the new Forge-based version of the app and marks a major step forward in functionality, flexibility, and platform support.
New features:
Saved reports, enhanced filtering and export
Reports can now be created and saved for later use, making recurring reporting much easier. You can use our new data grid for advanced filtering or export your reports into CSV or Excel
Unlimited hierarchy levels
The new version supports unlimited issue hierarchy depth, allowing calculations across more complex project structures.
Sprints and versions as containers
In addition to issue-based hierarchy, TeamTime now supports sprints and versions as report containers.
Important: Before upgrading from TeamTime Connect to Forge 2.0.0+, read the migration guide first. The Forge version uses new custom fields, some Jira configurations may need to be updated, and distributive-mode projects require extra setup after migration.
Minor improvement: You can use a search by Summary in Multiple Epics Report.
New features:
-
Advanced Project Time Tracking: The report now offers a more comprehensive and detailed overview of the time spent on the project. It has been enhanced to include information not only about epics, but also about the individual tasks and subtasks affiliated with each epic. This will provide a more accurate account of your project's progress and allow for better time management and resource allocation.
-
Better Report Accessibility: You are now able to access the report not only from the main app’s page but also directly from the issue page. This improvement aims to provide quick access to the information you need.
