The HelpDesk app provides a quick way to create an issue based on the comment (the comment text will become a new issue description and the comment author – the issue Reporter). This functionality may be convenient when your customer's comment should be issued separately.
The author of the comment will be automatically selected as a new issue Reporter. Ensure the reporter can reach the issue.
To make this option available:
Enable the option 'Create issue from comment';
Choose the Issue type link that will be applied for the original issue to interlink it with the new one.
After enabling this option, the icon appears in the existing comments
When creating an issue from comment, only the files from the original comment are available to be attached.
