Manage permissions
As a Booking Manager, granted access by the admin, you can manage permissions at the project level. This involves adding jira groups or roles as needed to ensure the right users have appropriate access to manage and interact with the app. The app features three levels of permissions:
Users authorized to create new calendars or configure existing ones, change permissions
(Booking Manager): This role is designated for users who handle the app’s configuration on a project level. Booking Managers have the authority to create new calendars, modify existing ones, and adjust permissions as needed. They can also perform actions that are reserved for Agents and Customers, ensuring that the app is set up and functioning according to the project’s requirements.Users authorized to use the app and manage bookings (Agent): Users assigned the Agent role are responsible for handling bookings made by customers. Agents have access to the app’s calendar and are tasked with managing and overseeing all booking-related activities. They play a crucial role in ensuring that bookings are efficiently handled and that any issues are resolved promptly.
Users granted access to the calendar in the request (Customer): Customers are users who are registered on the JSM portal. They are granted access to the calendar through their requests, allowing them to view and interact with the booking schedule. This role is focused on end-users who engage with the app to make or view bookings.

It’s important to note that members of the group jira-administrators are automatically granted access to these permissions by default and cannot be excluded from them.
